Here are some pictures I’ve taken of Auckland, there aren’t many yet but I’ll take more over the next few days.
This is Auckland’s famous sky tower as seen from Albert Park, it was a pretty dreary day and the pictures aren’t great but I think you’ll get the point.
Mostly I took pictures of Albert Park. There was a really steep hill to get up there but it was worth it, it’s a beautiful place.
It was Peter’s birthday last week so the weekend before last we decided to head down to Waikanae for the weekend. We got a really nice beach house (suprisingly cheap, a lot less than a couple motel rooms, it’s the only way to go).
Waikanae is about an hour north from Wellington on the west coast of the north island.
